Our beautiful Central Coast has some of the best wineries to enjoy on days when you need a break from reality, catch up with a friend, or celebrate a special occasion. The vineyards’ long grape paths go on for miles and create a breathtaking scenery, making it the perfect space to soak up the sun. There are over a hundred wineries to visit along the coast, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. In addition to enjoying some of the most beautiful views, they all offer memberships to join their wine clubs and get amazing perks whenever you visit. Each winery has a couple of different membership options so that you can choose which is best for your budget. While we’d love to get into every winery from Paso Robles to Ventura, we’ve picked out three of our favorites for you to visit the next time you’re in town, or if you’re a local who needs a new spot to check out.

Presqu’ile
Orcutt’s top winery sits atop the highest hill in town with vineyard and ocean views. The family-owned winery specializes in cool-climate wines, from Pinot Noir to Syrah to Chardonnay. They’re best had during warmer weather, but they have non-chilled wines to enjoy on cooler nights. You can spend your time inside the gorgeous tasting room with a fireplace to keep you warm. Stretch your legs out along the landscape stairs overlooking the rolling hills.
When visiting Presqu’ile, reservations are recommended to secure a spot in the tasting room or outside on the patio to enjoy the vineyard views. You can get lucky without reservations during the week on their non-peak days. They’re open weekdays except for Tuesday, 12-5 p.m., and on weekends, 11:30-5 p.m.

While Presqu’ile is known for its views and delicious wine options, they also put on a beautiful food tasting with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh bread, and assorted cheeses. Their Estate Chef Julie Simon creates a decadent spread that will have you wanting to go back for more. The farmer’s cheese is fluffy and full of flavor, and it’s our top favorite item from the tasting.

Brave and Maiden Estate
Tucked away in the Santa Ynez Valley, the Brave and Maiden Estate was named after the Nojoqui folktale, which tells a similar story to Romeo and Juliet; a tale of two lovers overcoming a forbidden love by choosing to stay together rather than ending their love story. It inspired the owners of the Brave and Maiden Estate to craft wine that brings people together. The estate itself showcases the warmth and natural beauty that can be seen when strolling the Santa Ynez Valley. The tasting room exudes wood, stone, and glass, creating a modern yet elegant atmosphere.

Brave and Maiden Estate don’t believe in a typical wine club for their members; instead, they focus on ensuring their members create a special connection to the estate with the membership of their choosing. Members get first access to new wines and get to enjoy the estate throughout the year.
