One of my favorite things about the changing seasons is the excuse to buy new books. There’s nothing better than carrying around bright-colored book covers that scream spring. Seeing splashes of blue, pink and orange peeking through my tote bag instantly boosts my mood—especially when the colors match my outfit for the day. Spring is in the air, and summer will be here soon. It's time to line our bookshelves with vibrant-colored books for the season.
‘Great Big Beautiful Life’ by Emily Henry

Kicking off our bright book cover roundup is Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry. Henry’s latest release features bold shades of orange and red. The story centers on two writers—Alice Scott and Hayden Anderson—who are competing to write the biography of former princess Margaret Ives. The duo is invited to Little Crescent Island, where Ives is staying, to get to know her for one month before she chooses who will tell her story. The only catch? They’re not allowed to share the stories she tells them.
‘I Hope This Finds You Well’ by Natalie Sue

Whether or not you’ve worked in an office, you probably know a thing or two about dealing with coworkers. Depending on the people, the experience can be enjoyable—or downright chaotic. In Natalie Sue’s debut novel, I Hope This Finds You Well, she explores the absurdities of office life in a laugh-out-loud, deeply relatable way.
The story follows Jolene, who unexpectedly gains access to her department’s private messages after an IT glitch. She must decide whether to report the breach or use it to her advantage—especially after hearing rumors of layoffs. Along the way, Jolene gets close to the overly friendly HR guy, Cliff—someone she definitely shouldn’t be bonding with.
‘Blue Sisters’ by Coco Mellors

Don’t let the calm white and blue cover mislead you—Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors is a deeply emotional story of grief, love and reconciliation. A year after the death of their fourth sister, three estranged siblings reunite in a last attempt to save their childhood home—and confront the past they’ve long ignored.
The Blue sisters—Avery, Bonnie and Lucky—couldn’t be more different. Avery, an impressionable lawyer, lives in London with her wife. Bonnie works as a bouncer in Los Angeles. Lucky is a model in Paris, struggling with her own demons. Each woman must face her grief and addictions in her own way, making this a powerful read about sisterhood and survival.
‘Interesting Facts About Space’ by Emily R. Austin

With a stunning red cover featuring glowing windows and a glimpse of the night sky, Interesting Facts About Space is an ideal spring nighttime read. The story follows Enid, a 26-year-old who knows everything about space—but struggles to handle real-life emotions and relationships.
As Enid tries to navigate a serious romantic relationship, she’s forced to face the suppressed issues she’s avoided for years. Emily Austin’s writing taps into the deeply human experience of hiding our most vulnerable selves. Fair warning: by the end of this novel, you may find yourself relating to Enid more than you ever expected.
